On this day, the Church stands in the midst of an increasingly advanced world situation, a storm of secularism, political upheaval and terrorism.
The Church is indeed in the midst of the desolate Desert. This is what the church (we) feel today.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the globalization situation, we (the people) experience a sad reality born from within the church (leader) itself.
There is a different service of God's Love for every people.
For every pastoral ministry, we (the Church) can clearly see the works in each Base Group. The most prominent is their life situation. There are Poor, Sufficient and some are Rich. Here we can see that the ministry of Christ's love is quite different between the poor and the rich. Sometimes the sacrament and sacramental service for the poor sisters and brothers is always being pushed and delayed; when they desperately need it. The trigger of this is: "Not paying off Church Finance". It seems that money has a higher position than the Sacrament and Sacramentals that must be accepted by people who do not have enough money.
This is a great challenge for the church (leader): Between Money and the service of God (Sacrament) to his people.
The challenge raises the judgment that there is a separation of services between the poor and the rich. This CAN NOT be DISPLAYED. For the wealthy brothers and sisters, this is a very easy thing; and easily also receive sacramental and sacramental services.
The Church (leader) is quite capable of proclaiming the love of Christ in and through every kothba and meditation, but FAILS proclaiming Christ in concrete action. There was a stumbling block that made him fall. The stone was small but he was able to make people falling over.
Option for the poor should start from within the church (leader and people); which is displayed in every service.
Formerly Jesus taught Shepherd Who Seek the Sheep, and now more and more sheep.
Today sheep meet her shepherd, but the shepherd's master refuses and drives the sheep just because he has no money.
Let us (Church) pray for the Church (leader), so as not to be easily tempted by worldly goods but to divide heavenly treasures long before worldly possessions are obtained.
